POST-CONFERENCE PUBLICATIONS

We are pleased to inform that the Springer-Verlag, Heidelberg has decided to publish a volume entitled Computer Methods in Mechanics - Lectures of the CMM 2009 containing the plenary lectures and keynote lectures presented at the CMM2009. The flyer of the Springer volume can be downloaded here.

The other authors who presented their 2-page paper at the conference are encourage to publish their full-length papers in the scientific journals of their choice. We have arranged the possibility and suggest the publication in one of the following prestigious journals whose editors we have already contacted:

  • Computer Assisted Mechanics and Engineering Sciences (CAMES), which is an official publication of the Central European Association for Computational Mechanics, published by the Polish Academy of Sciences, the Institute of Fundamental Technological Research. The Editorial Board of this journal has already agreed to collect the papers of CMM2009, which are accepted for publication, in a few special issues.
  • Computers & Structures (C&S), the Editorial Board of which has agreed to publish a special issue, provided a sufficient number of papers are accepted for publication.
  • Computer Methods in Applied Mechanics and Engineering (CMAME), in this journal there exists also a possibility of collecting papers of CMM2009, provided that a sufficient number of papers sent for consideration are accepted for publication.

Note that the full-length papers should be submitted directly to the journals with a note that they were presented at the CMM2009. The submitted papers will undergo the standard reviewing procedure. The templates for preparing papers can be downloaded from the given above website addresses of the journals. In order that their papers could be included in a special issue, the authors are advised to submit their manuscripts not later than the end of September 2009.
